Comments:
1. Initially the SGPT values increased showing liver damage.

Comments:
  1. Lowering of pH with RAAFRES helps to control the enteric organism, like E.Coli and Salmonella which require pH above 6 for optimum growth.
  2. RAAFRES lowered the pH not only in proventriculus but also in the small intestine. This means RAAFRES could withstand internal buffering mechanism and acid building food items and still lowered pH to control pathogens.

ACIDIFICATION ADVANTAGES
RAAFRES improves availability, digestion, absorption and utilization of nutrients in the feed by inhibiting microbes. Reduced number of microbes result in thinning of intestinal walls and increased size of villi helps better absorption of nutrients.
Acidification through acid hydrolysis of feed aids in release and digestion of nutrients
Improves efficiency of enzymes by enhancing release and utilization of nutrients from feed.
Acidification favours growth of Acidophilus bacterial flora that prevents growth of pathogens. 
Improves utilization of trace elements due to their chelation.
